SAG Awards - fashion winners and losers!

SAG Awards - fashion winners and losers!

Read post
Ok, so with the SAG Awards came loads and loads of incredible fashion statements... and some not so great ones. From Emma Stone to Laverne Cox, we just wanted to share a few looks that we absolutely loved.. and hated!

And the awards go to....

From left to right...
Emma Stone -
Emma Stone has never had a worst dressed look, every single time we've seen her on fashion police she has been praised for her elegant choices and ability to embrace her skin and hair colour. We love how this dress has the appearance of a blazer but with the twist of a sheer fabric train at the bottom. Her make up is flawless, as is her hair. There really is nothing bad to say about this look!

Camila Alves -
Now not only are we jealous of her husband (Matthew Mcconaughey), but this dress is absolutely stunning. We love the choice of colour and it fits her body so well, making her appear curvy in all the right places. We love how effortless her hair looks in this, with the dress being the main attraction. A big thumbs up from us!

Caitriona Balfe -
This Irish actress such knows how to compliment her pale skin tone! We love the shade of orange she has chosen and the dress is so beautiful. The slit up the front and the ruffle of fabric at the top really adds simplistic detail to the dress that no one could criticise. We also love how she's kept her shoes and clutch within the same colour scheme, her eye to detail is really what has made this outfit come together. One thing that may have helped? We think that maybe she should have gone for a sleek up-do, this would have added a much more dramatic effect to the look.

Kaley Cuoco-
This is certainly a different Kaley to the one we see on 'The big bang theory'! This dress is absolutely stunning, the shape of the dress really words with Kaley's body shape and although the colour seems to blend in with the red carpet, she works it well enough not to be camouflage. The small bowed belt is a simple yet needed feature to make this dress look as beautiful as it does. Although we preferred her hair when it had a bit more length, the shortness works to keep eyes drawn to her dress and accessories.

Felicity Jones -
After seeing 'The theory of everything' the other week there really isn't anything bad we want to say about Felicity. We love how the soft pink compliments her skin tone and how simple the dress is as a while. The updo was a good choice as it keeps all the attention to the beautiful cross detail at the top of the dress. Keep doing England proud! :)

Better luck next year.. We'd suggest a new stylist...

From left to right...
Laverne Cox-
There was one word that came to mind when we saw this picture.. CHEAP. The fabric of this dress is just too shiny, quite frankly it looks tacky and we were so disappointed when we saw her because usually she pulls out some gorgeous frocks! The colour of the dress is beautiful but the fabric just ruins it, and as for the beaded details.. let's not. One thing we will say is that her make up looks stunning and the soft waves at the ends of her hair are really working.. just not with this dress.

? -
Unfortunately we're not quite sure who this is but boy do we have something to say! This is the complete wrong dress for her body shape. It doesn't do her any favours and the fish tail-thing at the bottom just makes her look like an upside-down lamp shade. Maybe we're being a bit harsh here, but this dress really is just too plain, even with a giant explosion of material at the bottom. A few accessories may have helped, accessories that aren't those green tassels hanging from her ears. I think it'd be best if we stopped now before we get too bitchy!... I'm sure her shoes are nice though...

Lorelei Linklater-
What on earth was this girl thinking?! Her posture looks terrible, her hair looks like shes just stepped out of an Amish village and her those sleeves are nothing to be proud of! We like the fact that she's gone for a red lip to add a bit of colour to an otherwise all black outfit, but even that doesn't improve this look. Let's be honest, she looks like she's having a miserable time and I'm not surprised... I would be too if I wore that to a red carpet event!

Rosamund Pike -
This dress has added an extra 4 stone to Rosamund's usual petite frame, she's quite literally getting lost in the dress! We don't like the high to low hemline, it reminds us of a 12 year olds outfit they'd wear to their school disco. We love the style and length of her hair but just wish she'd gone with a longer and more elegant gown that hugged her gorgeous figure!

What do you guys think? Are we being too harsh? Or even too nice?! We'd love to hear what you think about some of these looks :)

Clara Olivia Wishlist! :)

Clara Olivia Wishlist! :)

Clara Olivia is a lingerie and swimwear company that specialises in larger cup sizes, ranging from B-K. As both of us have rather large boobies, we jumped at the chance when we were asked to do a wish list!

Our Wishlist...

From L-R: Patsy Black Underwired Padded Half Cup BraFantasie Melissa Underwired Side Support Plunge BraFantasie Florence BraFreya Fever Underwired Swimsuit

With valentines day coming up every underwear shop is coming up with the typical red fluffy bra's and knickers... I've even seen some cheeky love heart nipple tassels! However, we liked the simplicity of Clara Olivia. Their underwear sets are simplistic yet well embellished and we absolutely love the one piece on our wishlist. We like to go for sophisticated underwear and with top brands like Freya featuring on their website we know we'd love their products ! :)

Also, how many sisters find it hard to acquire a bra that will hold those bad boys in place when you're trying to work out?! Do you feel me?!
Finding the perfect sports bra is such a drag because they're either too tight or not supportive enough, it's just a hot mess!
But seeing as how one (of our many) new years resolutions is to be healthier and start exercising more, Clara Olivia is the perfect place to pick up a snazzy sports bra to stop those boobies from hitting you in the face whilst you're on the treadmill!

Be sure to check them out over at http://www.clara-olivia.com/, or we'd love to hear what brands you guys love buying from? :D

7 SERIES YOU SHOULD WATCH ON NETFLIX

7 SERIES YOU SHOULD WATCH ON NETFLIX
Thursday, 22 January 2015
Read post
Netflix literally acts as our saviour at the end of a long day of Uni. We wanted to suggest some TV series for you guys that you may not typically have tried. Besides from the usual suggestions of Breaking Bad and Orange is the New Black, Netflix has some incredible series that sometimes people over look! So, here we go...

RuPaul's Drag Race
This TV show is the sassiest muuhfuckin show we have ever watched! Think America's Next Top Model but for drag queens. It's just full of larger than life sass queens that you end up absolutely loving or hating because they have better legs than you!We would definitely recommend this for a bit of easy watching.
Oh and don't fuck it up.

Bates Motel
Bates Motel is an American thriller TV series that acts as the prequel to the 1960's film Psycho. If you enjoy shows that keep you hiding behind cushions is suspense or that keep you guessing the whole way through then you will love this! It's quite a shock seeing Freddie Highmore (little Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate factory) in the role he plays when compared with his previous acting roles, but it's very refreshing and he really makes it his own. This show truly is a good watch, with a lot of twists and turns along the way. We just can't wait for the next season to be put up!

House of Cards
First things first, this stars Kevin Spacey and Kevin Spacey is an absolute treasure and an incredible actor! It follows senator Frank Underwood (Spacey) who decides to seek revenge on those who overlooked and betrayed him after being refused the position of secretary of state. It is a bit politics-y (obviously) and takes a bit of concentration, but when you get in to it, it's absolutely incredible and very scandalous!

The Office US

This one is hard to write about because whatever we say will not do it justice. It is absolutely hilarious! At only 20-ish minutes an episode it doesn't take much effort to watch and it keeps you entertained the whole way through. The sense of humour that each character has is just on point, with sarcastic comments every 2 minutes and stupid remarks, it's just a barrel of laughs AND Steve Carrel is in it (the legend that gave us the famous quote: "I love lamp.") so you know it must be good!

We didn't really get on with the original UK version of this, not quite sure why, but we would say if you didn't either don't be put off because the US version is somehow funnier.

Sons of Anarchy
We don't know about you guys, but there is nothing better than a gang of rough looking bikers with facial hair, especially when one of these is Charlie Hunnam. This program is not for everyone, but if you like a bit of violence, sexual assault (in the nicest way possible!), drug laundering... then you will love this! With other co-stars including Katey Sagal & Ron Perlam this show really is a must watch! One thing we will say, the story lines can sometimes be quite complicated. so make sure you're not too distracted by Hunnam's beautiful face and sexy bod... there's other stuff going on!!

Sherlock
There has been a lot of talk about this recently, with the new series just finishing, so if you haven't seen it we recommend catching up on Netflix! It is based on the famous detective novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle but made much more modern by the likes of Benedict Cumberpatch and everyone's favourite hobbit, Martin Freeman. It's so cleverly done, it always leaves you wanting more and no matter how hard you try, you can never guess the outcome of the case! Although the episodes are pretty much an hour and a half long (they're sort of like mini-films) they keep you encapsulated the entire way through because of the sheer intelligence of each and every episode.

Louis Theroux
We just love how awkward Louis is as a person, and it makes it even better when he goes into high security prisons asking about why they killed their whole family and then ate them! (that was a joke). In all seriousness though, Louis Theroux really does explore many controversial issues in his TV series, visiting prisons, drug users, paedophiles & so much more. This show will definitely keep you sitting on the edge of your seat and allows the viewers to understand different cultures and the perspectives of people whom you may not usually want to give the time of day... namely his episode on paedophiles in rehabilitation. We would 100% recommend this.

We're always looking for new shows to watch & so we'd love to hear any suggestions you might have! :D

FASHION ALERT: 10 SPRING 2015 TRENDS

FASHION ALERT: 10 SPRING 2015 TRENDS
Saturday, 17 January 2015
Read post

Okay so, we absolutely love looking at new trends for the seasons and there's nothing better than spending our dollar on some stylish new threads, but this year the Spring 2015 trends leave much to be desired!
Now, this may be an unpopular opinion so we apologise if we offend anyone and we are well aware that different people will have different opinions so please don't take it to heart if you disagree.

But come on, these fashion trends are so BORRING and we swear military, gingham and monochrome were last year?!
It's not that we don't LIKE the trends, because we do, but we're just waiting for something new to happen. We understand that it must be hard to think of new trends when pretty much everything has already been done, but fashion is supposed to be experimental and fun and these just seem a little bit 'safe' and maybe a bit 'samey'.
Just to reiterate, we're not professionals when it comes to fashion, by any means, this is just our personal opinion so take what you will from it and feel free to share your own opinions because we love hearing other people's views even if they are the complete opposite to ours!

Have a nice day guys!

12 Book Challenge

12 Book Challenge
Monday, 12 January 2015
Read post

So we've decided to do the 12 book challenge! We don't actually know what this challenge entails but we've decided to challenge ourselves with 12 books over 12 weeks. I know that sounds like a lot of time, but we have uni and a lot of assignments due in so we don't have that much spare time! So, to summarise that's 6 books each over a 6 week period... wish us luck! :)

So here we go, book number one!...

A Season to Remember - Sheila O'Flanagan

It's a christmas based book, and I know many people may not be keen on reading a crimbo book when it's officially over, but I just couldn't help myself. The book cover is very enticing and the blurb was vague enough to leave me intrigued. I finished this book in 3 days, and if it weren't for moving back to uni throughout one of these, I would have finished it much sooner. I literally couldn't put this book down! The story is all based at a hotel in which the book covers multiple stories, with a new chapter introducing new characters staying at the hotel. Each character has a unique background and story and that's what makes the book so interesting. It really is a good read, and keeps you wanting more the whole way through. I was very sad when I finished the last page because I simply didn't want it to end!

I would recommend this book to you if you like a book with a bit of romance, family drama, friendships and a hint of surprise. I find that Sheila O'Flanagan always finds a unique way to make her typical chick lit book into something more, with a twist or surprise, hence why I love her books so much. There's no other author quite like her!

If any of you have read this book I'd love to hear what you thought of it? Or perhaps you have suggestions based on this book? We love reading all your comments so please feel free to plonk one down below! :)

Happy reading!

THE BRITISH TAG!

THE BRITISH TAG!
Wednesday, 7 January 2015
Read post
This to me is the most wonderful tag I have ever seen! I absolutely love being British! I love the cliché, stereotypical assumptions about Britain like that we drink tea all the time and we're all bezzas with the Queen (shout out to my home girl Liz). I love the British sense of humour and I love that we're known for having a 'stiff upper lip' and just getting shit done. If you're British we'd definitely recommend doing this tag because it's a lot of fun but if you're not, maybe you'll learn some things about Britain that you didn't already know!

How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?

Kayleigh: This varies with my mood and the season, in Summer I don't drink tea too often but the past couple of weeks I've been having probably around 5 a day (at least I'm getting 5-a-day of something!). In terms of how I like it, a dash of milk and no sugar, thank you.
Abby: Builders tea (no sugar) is the only way to go here ladies! It varies really, average I'd say 3 cups of tea.

Favourite part of the roast?
Kayleigh: This is literally the hardest question I've ever had to answer! I'm such a sucker for cauliflower/broccoli and cheese sauce!
Abby: Oh that's easy.. hands down it's got to be stuffing.

Favourite dunking biscuit?
Kayleigh: Chocolate hobnobs are delicious for dunking
Abby: McVities caramel all the way mate.

Favourite quintessentially British past-time?
Kayleigh: I love love love going to the pub for a bit of pub grub!
Abby: Fish and Chips.. without the fish, I like chicken nug nugs with mine.

Favourite British word?

Kayleigh: BOLLOCKS

Abby: Twat.. or bugger... or bloody. oh my, there's just too many!

Cockney rhyming slang?
Kayleigh: let's be honest, no-one really uses cockney rhyming slang so what about some cockney words that people do use courtesy of national treasure Danny Dyer (these must be said out loud): wodja kowl it - what you say when you can't remember the name of something
fink - ponder
mow tar - automobile/car
yooz lot - referring to a group of people
janarta meen - do you understand?

Abby: APPLE AND PEARS YEAAAAAAAAAAH. Cause unlike Kayleigh, I know where I came from. But...That's all I got.

Favourite British sweet?
Kayleigh: I love ye old pear drops (woulda said Cadburys chocolate but they sold out to the USA so it doesn't count any more)
Abby: Nothing beats a good old rhubarb & custard boiled sweet! :)

What would your pub be called?
Kayleigh: Probably something really typical like 'The Stags Head'
Abby: The Old Codger

No. 1 British person?
Kayleigh: I'm saying Stephen Hawking because he's a bloody genius and he's so underrated these days! A lot of people don't even know that he's British for goodness sake!
Abby: The Queen, obviously.

Favourite shop/ restaurant?
Kayleigh: Favourite shop is probably ASDA (the British version of Wallmart) because it has everything you'd ever want to buy and the prices are pretty darn good. Also, that would be my go to place should there ever be a zombie apocalypse!
Favourite restaurant- NaNaNaNaNandos

Abby: Fav shop would have to be either Boots or Superdrug, I could literally spend days in there without getting bored! I don't have a favourite restaurant, I love pub food.. well actually just food in general... so give me a pub and I'll be happy as Larry!

What's the first British song that pops into your head?
Kayleigh: The Beatles / Eleanor Rigby
Abby: Monty Python / Always look on the Brightside of Life

Marmite- love or hate?
Kayleigh: HATE HATE HATE, UGH
Abby: ew, that's gross.

We hope you enjoyed! Cheerio now.

So many questions...

So many questions...
Sunday, 4 January 2015
Read post
With 2015's arrival and 2014's sudden dismissal it's left me with so many questions. I just wanted to share a few of my questions, worries and concerns regarding the upcoming year & would love to know if anyone else thinks the same way I do...

I'm currently the most unmotivated I have ever been when it comes to University, I thought that perhaps a new year would give me a different perspective on things, but unfortunately it hasn't. I'm worried that this will reflect in my work and my grades will suffer. I've never really enjoyed uni as much as my other friend. Yes, I love the freedom of living with my friends, and I love going out and dancing into the early hours of the morning.. but the course itself? I don't know. I've never completely fallen in love with what I'm learning. I went into my first year knowing what I wanted to do when I finished my third year, but now I'm more confused than ever. It doesn't help when family and friends tell you to just get on with it.. 'do your best'... but it's hard to do my best when I'm feeling so dismissive about all my work. I know It may appear that I hate uni, but i don't, I know that afterwards I'll be glad I did it & hopefully my career path will benefit.. but right now, I just feel so young, too young to decide what I want to do with my life and where I see myself in 5 years.

I'm aware that I need to change, I need to be more outgoing and more confident. I have no life skills that I could sell myself on... of course there's the usual 'team player' and 'hard worker' but that's so typical. I need to put myself out there this year, I need to get some experience that I can put on my CV otherwise I'll be the one in the interview waiting room with a one page CV sitting next to Mrs 12 pages of impressive experiences that have given me a guaranteed chance at getting this job! But where to start? There are many places to volunteer, but if I do, I don't just want to do it for the attractiveness to future employers. I want to enjoy it. The major thing is, that I'm terrified of doing new things like this alone, hence why me and Kayleigh do everything together. She's the only person I know that's exactly like me, and so I'm glad she's always been there to hold my hand. I guess I just need to get off my arse and hop to it.

I think it's hard because Kayleigh and I are quite creative people. We love blogging, we both keep journals and we're attempting to write a book together.. don't laugh! But no matter how much we enjoy it, deep down we know that nothing will ever come of it. At the most it's a hobby, and we're happy that we have that. But we'd love if we could do this all the time. We will not give up though!

God, this is a gloomy post.

Maybe I should be asking other questions like... Why is the sky blue? Is Kim K's bum really real?
But I hate the thought that we all spend years in education, to get a job that pays well, to then work at this job for the rest of our lives until we get too old. Then we have to live off the money we've earned which won't be buying us holidays to Hawaii (which we'll deserve), but instead allowing us the privilege of Heinz beans instead of tesco's own. So really, what is the point? *Sigh*

For now I'm going to try and stay positive, motivate myself and be more confident! HEAR HEAR!

Please don't get me wrong, I love my life. I love my friends and family and wouldn't change a thing about it. It's just sometimes these question weigh on my mind and it helps to just get it out there! :D

'Someday everything will make perfect sense. So for now laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.'

5 ways to change your life this year!

5 ways to change your life this year!
Friday, 2 January 2015
Read post

Lets be honest, how many times have we said this to ourselves on a New Years day? Myself and Abby have definitely had our fair share of broken New Years resolutions but this year we're thinking, why not take the steps to improve our lives? It sounds so incredibly cliché, but the only person that is stopping us from living the life that we want to live is ourselves. So, lets start this year a fresh!
Here are 5 steps that we are going to take to make this year the best it can be, we hope that it will inspire some of you or at the very least you will enjoy reading it!

STEP 1: ORGANISATION
Paperchase £4.50
There is nothing more relaxing than knowing that your time, environment and self is organised. This year we plan on keeping diaries in order to make sure that our time is completely organised. That way we can keep an eye on when assignments are due and plan when we have time to draft blog posts.
There's no need to go over the top crazy writing down every single thing that you have to do every day of the year, but just jotting down important things will help you to remember to do them (also it's so embarrassing double-booking on people so it will help with that too!)

STEP 2: HEALTHY EATING
Personally, we hate that stupid four letter word that begins with a D and ends in IET. Every single year we decide to make 'dieting' our new years resolution, but it's just so dang hard to stick to so we never last!
This year, we're going to start eating healthy, NOT DIETING! We need to change the way we think about food overall to become more healthy, not just eat nothing but leaves temporarily until we've lost as much weight as we want and then start eating unhealthily again.

Now we are literally the worst at this whole healthy thing because we're suckers for crisps and cakes (as many people are) but here are 3 tips that we're giving ourselves as well as you to keep on the right path!
1) Think of it positively. Don't think of how far you've got to go, just take one day at a time. If you have a defeatist attitude from the get go you will be waiting for yourself to fail and therefore probably will. YOU CAN DO IT!
2) Don't assume that all healthy foods are boring. Maybe have a look on Pinterest or on other blogs for recipe inspiration. Healthy food doesn't just consist of salad leaves and apples!
3) Keep a food diary. You don't have to write every detail about every item of food down but just what you have eaten that day and, if you really want to, the calories that it contained.  We recommend the MyFitnessPal app as it tells you all the information necessary about the food that you've eaten including things that you wouldn't usually think of like salt content etc. That way you can just keep an eye on what you've eaten and honestly who wants to write down on paper that they've eaten a cheeky packet of Mars Bars in one day!

STEP 3: WAKE UP EARLIER
It's something we all long for but very few have achieved... the ideal sleeping pattern. You end up going to sleep a bit later than usual which causes you to wake up later than usual, which in turn means that you're not tired until later, GAH it's a vicious cycle!
I am the most horrible person to be around in the morning because I hate being woken up with a fiery passion, but this year we're both going to make a conscious effort to sort out our awful sleeping patterns because sleeping in all morning is just not okay! Think of all the things you could do in that time!

STEP 4: READ MORE

When I was in the early years of secondary school, a lot of people used to think of reading as boring and just laugh when they were asked what the last book they read was. But reading is such a good way to learn and broaden the horizons! I do love to read and when I get in to a good book it pretty much takes over my life, but the simple truth is I just don't do it enough! A lot of people nowadays spend so much time on technology whether it be on laptops or on their phone so I've decided for a few hours every evening I am going to stay clear of all technological devices (even turn them off if need be, I know drastic, but I'm serious!), put on some candles and just read a good book! Not only is it nice to just be immersed in a good story but it's also a good way to have some you time with no distractions, not to mention it supposedly helps you sleep, so really it's win win!

STEP 5: BE NICE TO PEOPLE/SMILE MORE
It sounds so silly to say because I think very few people deliberately go out of their way to be nasty to people but at the same time, very few people go out of their way to be NICE to people either.
A lot of the time I take my bad moods out on the people close to me, let alone other people around me, so this is something that I am really going to work on this year. Even if it's just taking some time on my own to relax when I'm feeling a bit down rather than bringing everyone else down with me.
Pay someone a compliment or do a little thing to help someone else every day and you will feel so much better about yourself. It's true that when you are nice to people it makes you feel good about yourself and your friends will thank you for it!
Also, don't let things get you down too much. It's hard not to be pessimistic because in life, being a pessimist is being a realist, but if you always expect the worst you will miss out on the best. Don't worry so much about things that are out of your control, just SMILE.

Our favourite Christmas presents of 2014 ❅

Our favourite Christmas presents of 2014 ❅

Read post
We are in no way bragging about the presents we received, we are so grateful to our friends and family and just wanted to share some of things we got, we can't wait to read what everyone else did for Christmas!... It certainly satisfies our nosy nature :)

I am so grateful for the gifts I received, I really couldn't have asked for anything more this Christmas... well I mean, other than a holiday to Jamaica and perhaps £7,000,000! But in all seriousness, I am so thankful to my family and friends who made my Christmas so special. My thoughts went out to everyone around the world who weren't able to be with their loved ones this year and I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas.

So here are a few of the things I received that I absolutely love!...

I just love love love a lace up heel at the moment, I think they are so elegant and classic. When I saw these online at New Look I was on the phone straight away to my mum asking her if she could let Santa know that these babies were high up on my wish list! :D The heel is around 4 inches and so they're not too high! At 5'10 I'm not too keen on wearing really high heels as I tower over everyone, but these are perfect. I can't wait to wear these with a pair of black skinnies, an oversized jumper and a colossal handbag, preferably one with fur!

I adore this eyeshadow palette by makeup revolution, with 144 shades and a price tag of £10 what's not to love?! The colours are pigmented and apply to the skin beautifully, they do take a little bit more effort to blend than other eyeshadows I've tried, but I cannot wait to get stuck into these! This pallette really does cater to suit anyone, it's large variety of neutral colours are gorgeous, with both shimmer and matte shades, the colours vary right the way up to neon colors for those brave makeup lovers out there!

Ultimate eyeshadow collection - £10

I'd previously had one of these mirrors but the bulb broke and unfortunately they are irreplaceable :(
These mirrors make your makeup so much easier to apply, it illuminates your face and allows for a more flawless coverage and application of all makeup. The light really helps you to see where needs extra work, or if anywhere needs a touch more blending. I would 110% recommend this to anyone that doesn't have one, it makes life so much easier and really does make a difference when it comes to the overall finish of your makeup.

No7 Illuminate makeup mirror - £19.99

Now this may seem like a silly little present, but to me this was the bestest invention in the whole universe! I'm a tad obsessed with pugs to the point where one night I was lying in bed with Kayleigh and I actually began to tear because I didn't have one! Yes, it's sad but I just can't help it. But I'm please to say that this little pug plug, whom I've name George (I tried to pick a bit of a cheeky name, he does see everyone naked after all!), is satisfying my needs in the pug department and keeps me company in the bath, he likes to bob around and get lost in the fog of bubbles :)

Floating pug bath plug - £6

I think I'm a little behind on this craze but I received a selfie stick this year and I love it so much! I have literally taken so many pointless photos with it but i just can't help it, it's so magical and amazing! I can't wait to whack it out on NYE and snap away :)

I have the original Naked palette and really wanted to try out a new one, it was tough deciding between 2 & 3, but after much deliberation and logical thought I decided to give number 3 a go! I can't wait to try it, the colours are so beautiful and if it's anything like the first, I'm sure it'll live up to my expectations! :D

This Christmas I wasn't really sure what I wanted but the presents I received were absolutely perfect! It really showed me how well my family truly know me!
I hope you all got everything you wanted too.

The first present that I opened on Christmas morning was this travel mug from my sister. It's not the most expensive or extravagant present but I absolutely love it! It's so cute! Not to mention, it's actually practical because it means that I can take a nice cup of tea to Uni with me on a cold Monday morning.

The next thing is this Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanse and Polish Cleanser. I had wanted this for sooo long and was so excited to try this on Christmas day! I know that people talk about it all the time, but it really is as good as they say! The formula is so soft on the skin, you can literally rub it on your eyes (softly of course) and it doesn't sting at all. A little bit goes a long way so it's definitely worth the £16 price tag and I'm not kidding when I say it leaves your skin feeling as smooth as a baby's bottom!

Okay anyone that knows me will know that this is pretty much the perfect thing to get me for Christmas if you have no idea what to get. I absolutely love going to gigs but very rarely have the money to go to all the ones that I want to. I plan to use this on tickets to see someone that I have never seen before because to me, there is nothing better than being in a crowd of people with your adrenaline pumping, a cold beer in your hand and a great live band in front of you.

The final thing that I want to share with you are these gorgeous pictures from this amazing Etsy shop Oh Gosh, Cindy! I have never in my life bought any form of art work or wall art but I seen a few of these on instagram a while back and fell in love! They look so cute in frames and, as I have recently moved house, they look perfect on my bare walls.
