On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave me.....
A costa coffee, Christmas movies & Chinese! ☃

We ventured into town to do a spot of Christmas shopping and check out all the sales, because lets be honest, every girl out there is now on the hunt for the perfect New Years Eve dress! At the moment there is the cutest German Christmas market in the centre of town and so we had a little ganders at the stalls, there were so many different sorts! From jewellery to handmade Christmas decorations, crepes to big, German sausages (and no, that's not a euphemism) and our personal favourite... handmade chocolate! Our prayers had been answered when we turned to find a man shouting at us 'FREE CHOCOLATE!'.. it really was a Christmas miracle!

Of course we had to stop off at Costa where we tried some of their seasonal drinks, Kayleigh had a Praline Cappuccino whilst I had an Orange hot chocolate, it was just like drinking Terry's chocolate orange out of a cute snowman cup, it was so so delicious :D The display cabinet had so many mouth watering treats in but we knew that we had spent way too much on crimbo presents that day and so thought better of it!

Once we were safely home, after spending literally 5 hours in town (if you've ever been to Northampton town you'll know that it's baffling we took that long), we decided to unpack all the Christmas decorations we had bought (some tinsel from the 99p shop!) and decorate our kitchen/living room. I must say, we did a superb job, there's nothing more festive than drawing pins and tinsel hanging off our walls :D

After the decorations were up and we were in our jammies we thought that there was no better way to end the day than with a takeaway and a Christmas movie. After much debate on the JUST EAT website ( we decided to go with a Chinese (sorry pizza, you just missed out!). We use JUST EAT every time we get a takeaway and so I'm ashamed to say that our favourite Chinese joint was ready and waiting for us as we logged in... It didn't take us long to decide what we wanted as we usually get the same things every time and split it, although... I can pack away a lot more than Kayleigh can.. but the time she was halfway through her first helping I was already on my second plate!

Whilst eating our delicious Chinese we whacked on Elf, because lets be honest, the only thing that beats a good Will Ferrell film is a Christmas Will Ferrell film!! (And everyone knows THE BEST WAY TO SPREAD CHRISTMAS CHEER IS SINGING LOUD FOR ALL TO HEAR).

We hope you enjoyed a little insight into our day to day lives! We hope you're all enjoying the build up to Christmas! :D

Abby & Kayleigh x
